Pointy end toward enemy

At least he doesn’t have his booger-hook on the bang-switch.

    That’s funny.

I’d like to see a wider angle on that, just to see how many photographers were surrounding him.

  2. Dave thA Says:

    I like combatant #2’s tactical eye protection…

  3. Paul Says:

They might have had their fingers off the bang switch, but the bullets are loaded backwards. I don’t think the switch will work that way.

Might explain why they wear the handkerchief.

“They might have had their fingers off the bang switch, but the bullets are loaded backwards.”

I thought that was implicit from the title of the post?

  5. Paul Says:

Could be. I took point end to mean barrel, but in reflection could defentely mean bullets.

Still, makes you wonder about the caliber of player for some of these groups.

“Rambo” is clearly improperly filed in the “How To” section of the local Blockbuster. And before you jump on me, they don’t have Netflix there either.

  7. Robert Says:

    Anyone ID those weapons?

  8. Sigivald Says:

It’s not loaded at all – that belt is draped over the gun, not through the loading gate.

The one on the left looks to be an FN MAG.

The one on the right stumps me, and I can’t find a match on my usual world.guns.ru reference.

A belt-fed .30 GPMG with what looks like a top right cocking handle?

  9. Sigivald Says:

    Aha! It’s a Czech UK Vz. 59.

What looked like a cocking handle was part of the sights.

  10. Stretch Says:

I’m sure Roland of Warren Zevon fame would handle them with a short burt or two.

    There’s an H&K joke in this somewhere…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
