Glenn Beck and a gun at the airport

Apparently, he travels with guns. And the airport person freaks out then the airline loses the gun.

I hope that Mr. Beck, while traveling, was just passing through and is protected under the FOPA of ’86. Otherwise, possessing an unregistered gun in NYC is unlawful.

Update: Readers say he lives in NY. So, he probably has a permit.

If he had a gun at all. The linked transcript smells of Mitt Romney-style “Gun Ownership”.

  2. Olav Says:

    He said “clip”.

I believe Beck lives in NYC. I would wager that he’s one of the rare instances of folks having a concealed weapons permit, or at least possession of registered handguns. Imagine the documented threats that guy gets on a daily basis. He’s ruffling some major feathers out there. He has hinted at intense security surrounding him and his family to protect them from harm.

So, he exported a gun to Canada? He’s in so much trouble now for violating ITAR and dozens of other rules about approved gun exports.
Makes me wonder if he did it on purpose to ensure material for his show for the next two years 🙂

“Hi, I’m Glen Beck and you, liberal New York airport worker, have an opportunity to screw with me in complete anonymity, without any danger of repercussion, in a way that will inconvenience me greatly and perhaps cause me to violate laws or even be unable to defend my life.”

I don’t think Glen is the one doing the screwing around here.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
