I think someone needs to review their history. At least at the national level, I believe the staunchest opponents of 60’s civil rights legislation had a (D) after their names. As did the staunchest proponents of anti-civil rights legislation (ex: GCA ’68).

“New GOP”? I’m not holding my breath. And who gives a damn whether a politician has a penis or a vagina? I thought we were supposed to look beyond that, and here I was living it (silly me) but it seems these lefty loony lib-tards can’t think of anything but race and sex.
Here’s how it works, in case anyone’s been living isolated in a cave. Women and minorities are fucking wonderful, so long as they’re lefty lib-tards who can be counted on for their lefty lib-tard vote. If they’re conservative like Clarence Thomas, Janice Rogers-Brown, Walter E. Williams or even moderately conservative like Condi Rice, then they’re total shit, back-stabbing neocon Uncle Toms and must be ruined, even to the extent of lying about them and portraying them as racially or sexually demeaning caricatures. That’s the Left today, it was the Left 100 years ago, and it will be the Left a thousand years from now.
The only option is to defeat them, and the only way to defeat them is on principle. The Republican Party seems to have no idea what that even means. They’re still polling us to find out what it is they should pretend to believe so they can fool us (once again) into voting for them, whereupon they’ll do what they’ve always done– make the growth of government more acceptable.
