Layers of editorial oversight

Curt: According to the local NBC affiliate, Chicago has seen a 17% increase in the use of machine guns in crime…machine guns that were purchased legally at gun stores in Indiana.

Markie Marxist sez: “My Marxist amigos in the media can lie faster than our political enemies can correct them. All your machine guns are belong to us! Ha! Ha!”

    Uncle,

I sent a complaint to the FCC about this report – don’t know if it’ll do any good, but we cannot let this shit go unchallenged.

    Here’s the link.

Given the rarity of crimes committed with real machine guns, a 17% increase could be the result of just one crime. On the other hand, if they know it was “legally purchased”, I’d like to know what the owner was charged with.

Also, in Chicago, just having a macine gun is probably a crime, and they probably report possession as “using” it in a crime, too.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
