My daughter was told by her counselor that to get financial aid for college she either needed to get pregnant or become an addict, or be convicted of a crime, otherwise she was just the wrong color and there wasn’t a damn thing to be done about it. Full disclosure: The counselor was a black woman and thoroughly pissed off about the situation. I am sure that she has since been removed as being politically incorrect for being honest.
