    Three things pop out at me:

    Fight like you train, train like you fight. These maroons thought that all gun battles were like what they saw in the movies, and no one in that bar have ever thought that maybe getting used to stressful encounters with a firearm in your hand (like IPSC or IDPA) or real training would be a useful thing.

    Shot placement trumps stopping power. Duh.

    Cold-cocking one guy in the midst of all his buddies is not a good way to de-escalate a fight. 🙂
