Pint glasses don’t kill people
Where Great Britain Used to Be, they want to ban glass pint, err, glasses for plastic pint to prevent brawls. Stupid. And, of course, I hate those plastic cups that look like glass ones. They’re too light and I grab it thinking it’s heavier and spill my beer.

The Brits may give in to *this*; But I wonder what would happen if the authorities try to take their pub darts and dartboards….could mean riots. 😉

In some ways, this makes sense.
The Brits have made an art out of “glassing”, the popular method of facially disfiguring people who look at them in a way they don’t like. Simply take your pint glass, crack the top on a counter and jam in into someones face, with a twist…
Not lethal, but prevalent and easily prevented. There is no right to a thin-walled beer glass, and indeed in the UK no written rights at all.
I sure glad I moved to northern Idaho from the UK.

They did this in the Armed services in the 80’s.
If you wanted to disfigure someone you used a bar stool.
This kind of thing is pathetic, they have Muslims marching the streets vowing to kill everyone and they’re bothered with bar brawls…. Sheesh!
