Sorry to have missed you, this time. Will you have a substantial layover on the way back? And are you at O’Hare or Midway?

  2. SayUncle Says:

You are embarking on a strange and dangerous mission….Be careful!

  5. countertop Says:

I won’t fly through Chicago with guns.

  6. anon Says:

There are no illegal guns, only unconstitutional laws.

  7. Paul Says:

They are only illegal if they are found. Be safe.

  8. KCSteve Says:

Eh. The flashlight’s probably illegal in some way as well, or at least you having it is illegal.

  9. teqjack Says:

KCSteve is right, the flashlight is probably illegal in some way.

I am pretty sure, though, that as long as the bag stays in checked baggage, i.e. at the airport, it is safe and legal, or was last year. Well, except from TSA…

    “Except the flashlight.”

    Give ’em time.

  11. Dixie Says:

Is the flashlight black? Does it have a high capacity battery? Does it have a lens thing that turns? If so, it is an assault flashlight, has no sporting purpose, and is banned in Chicago.

I don’t think you’re breaking Chicago’s ordinance. When I lived “in” (near) Chicago, I looked into the matter and was told checking guns at O’Hare was fine as long as you legally possessed them at the point where your trip began (in my case, home) and where you were headed. New York is another matter.

BOHICA..Bend over, here it comes again.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
