    Heh.

There are a few pieces of small print–they have to be centerfire, they have to work, and they can’t have critical cracks or breaks, but . . . . Chicago PD is only giving $50 nowadays, and given a choice between driving into Chicago or buying a SIG, I can imagine what most people would choose.

I think I’ll take Sig up on that offer. I have this old gun, with a long barrel that says “Colt Python” on it. It says “.357”, which is smaller than .38, but it shoots .38’s, so I guess they’ll take it anyway. It would be really cool to get $200 for it. It’s still real shiny, so it’s not messed up or anything, but it’s a real old gun, like from the 1970’s. They should take it. I think I’ll take it over to the gun store now and see if they’ll give me the $200 for it.

Hmmn. You can get a 9mm hipoint for under $200 pretty easily these days. Way under, if you shop around.

    Hmmmn.

The fine print most likely excludes cheap guns.

I had a Klunker gun, once. Made in Tula arsenal, used to be called a Mosin-Nagant, I think, but before I got it for $69 the bore turned to rusty pits. It goes bang, (wow, does it ever), is very hard to extract spent cases, and can hit the side of a barn from 25 yards, if I aim carefully. Will it qualify?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
