Good and bad
The NFL wants to implement a program to ensure that players that carry guns get an appropriate permit. The also want players to register their guns. Of course, someone should tell the folks at the NFL that we don’t register guns. At least in the free states.

As well as the obvious boo-boo you’ve already spotted & pointed out (registration);
Aren’t laws to cover permits already implimented in the US of A??
Does the NFL want to make new laws, special just for the NFL playas?
Curious minds want to know.

In many states, a felony conviction disqualifies one from ownership. But the NFL and most of their minor-league collegiate affiliates have special rules for their felons.

Keep in mind a lot of franchises aren’t in the free states. If all the NFL’s saying is that they want all their people to follow the law, and that not following the law is grounds for dismissal from the business that is the NFL, then I don’t really have a problem with this.
