    I can’t make pickles. The Mrs. doesn’t like the overpowering smell of vinegar in the house.

    I think next time I’ll cook the solution outside on the grill’s side burner.

    I used to work with a guy that would bring in a gallon jar full of carrots, onions, califlour, pickles and peppers that he pickled. Sure miss that guy.

    Yeah, I need to start pickling, too. As it is, I take store-bought pickles, open the jar, remove a pickle or two, and stuff the jar with onions, garlic and hot peppers, and then put the jar in the back of the fridge for a month. It’d be even better if I just made my own spicy garlic pickles from scratch. I’ll have to check out your recipe.
