Bane reports gun demand is waning:
A little less than 2 years ago you could find a serviceable AR for $600-800…expect to see those prices again, but not forever!
Pretty consistent with my recent experiences too. Lowers at one local shop were down to $149.

Saw some lowers in the $120’s at the recent gunshow here in Nashville.

Same here in AZ – $129 is the current rate for “ordinary” lowers, and I’ve seen “blems” under $100. AKs are available again, albeit 20% higher than last year. You can even find G19s in stock..:-)
Ammo is even re-appearing, again 20-40% higher than last year, and only in a limited selection.
The light at the end of the tunnel!

Erm, we’ve got a complete High Standard flat top/optics setup “A3” model on the wall for less than a grand.
Prices *are* coming down, it’s how willing the shop/seller is to give up the available margin capacity that the price drop gives them. And going as markets go, even if nobody wants to trim margin when the outlay drops, it’ll always fall out eventually because of competitive pressures.
Basically, once production and supply re-normalize, price will as well. You just have to wait.
