Ann Althouse is saying the ad is effective but I wonder. Sure it gets your attention but I it is supposedly targeted at young men. Now perhaps I’m just getting old and closed minded but I don’t want to think about my sandwich in that way.

Wow. The ad was somewhat amusing, definitely (pathetically) suggestive, and absolutely a failure, but the comments… oh the comments…

The ad is merely distasteful (/pun), but the comments are actually depressing. Man, there really are people out there who not only think that way, but kvech and bitch, and call you names because they think you don’t. These are the type of people who push for the passage of laws against whatever offends them.
I’m with JKB…sometimes a sandwich should just be a sandwich !!
