I guess that’s a tactical response?

The Firearm Blog has video of Yeager responding to criticism of the video where the photographer is down range at a training session.

    Words fail me.
Maybe Darwin has an answer to this kind of behaviour.

  2. Robert Says:

Yeager should not be training. He’s lost the connection between reality and bullshit. He’s going to get someone killed at his range, or copying this insanity at another range.

  3. DirtCrashr Says:

Method Actors rely on “mindset.” Think: Brandon Lee…
They can’t can’t hear the gunfire because of how AWESOME their Hair-Shirt and HUGE ballsack are.

  4. Robert Says:

Further, a photographer who agrees to do this is a fool. A student on the line when confronted with this situation should call a cease fire for the whole line and secure their weapon. If Yeager, or anyone, insists on arguing about how safe this situation is, leave.

Each of us has a responsibility to ourselves AND OTHERS in the gun rights community to NOT participate in unsafe practices.

Please stop giving this guy free press. You know the saying… no press is bad press. I’m sure as a result of all of this that Yeager is laughing all the way to the bank.

Seriously tho, I have wondered what his insurance company thinks about this, now.

    Unacceptable.

What that photographer did was roughly equivalent to Fox Sports or TNT putting a camera guy on the wrong side of the crash barriers of a NASCAR race, like in the grassy infield by each corner.

Sure, if things go right, that photog is 100% safe. But things can go wrong, and when they go wrong, they tend to go wrong in spectacularly dangerous ways.

  7. Linoge Says:

He can train however he likes, and if anyone is stupid enough to get on their bandwagon, then more power to the whole lot of them.

I can guarantee that I will never be on a firing line with him, and he will never see a penny of my money.

  8. Billy Beck Says:

You know, I compare this sort of thing with real history of firearms handling in the old west, and I long for the resurrection of real American men.

    Further affiant sayeth not.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
