Tennessee Crime Stats
Over at View from the Cumberlands, they have a look:
In 2008, there were 171 murders committed in Tennessee using handguns. But there were also 61 committed using knives, compared with 21 committed by shotgun and less than a dozen* committed with those dastardly assault rifles
Clearly, we must ban knives. For the children.

And if you factor Memphis out of the 171, how many are there for the rest of the state?
