Alcohol is readily available to gun permit holders NOW! It is already illegal to consume alcohol while carrying NOW! So why would gun permit holders who’ve undergone state-training, been subjectd to criminal background checks by the TBI and FBI, gone through the waiting period and paid their $115 fee suddenly transformed into dangerous idiots or criminals if allowed to enter restaurants that serve alcohol???
One good way to determine if a statement contains bias is to change one word in the statement and see 1) if the statement is still comprehensible and 2) to see if that bias would be considered acceptable to a reasonable person.
For example: “Should Negros be allowed in restaurants that serve alcohol?”
Is there a bias? Would that bias be acceptable if it were applied to any other group of people, such as the one used in the example? I recognize that the use of the word “Negro” itself may be considered inappropriate in any modern context, but the intention is purely tongue in cheek.

Big deal. I have guns at home and serve alcohol there. Jack.

Well, illegally carried ones are there already. The question is, should we allow legally carried ones?
I think that’s obvious!

We allow THEM to frame the debate when we allow them to use words like “allow.”

I took the poll, saw the result which was
70% yes, 30% no, then watched the video,
which lies about the result. Typical…

Where is the poll? Is it down the memory hole?
May 5th, 2009 at 4:36 pm
seems to be.

Yeah, 404 error. That’s what happens when they don’t get the results they want.
