Guns in restaurants

I love Jeff Woods. Sure, he’s a simplistic douchebag who misleads readers. But, gosh darnit, he’s always bringing me good news:

The Senate just voted 26-7 for the guns-in-bars bill without the 11 o’clock curfew that the House added.

Good. And it’s not a guns in bars bill as Woods says. It’s a guns in places that serve alcohol bill. Like, say, Pizza Hut. But, you know, that’s not scary enough.

Well, I have to disagree with you, he’s not a simplistic douchebag, he’s a totally misguided libberpuke gun hater with an agenda AND a simplistic douchebag…

So, what now? I suppose it’s not going to the Gov’s desk just yet, right?

  4. Ron W Says:

The bill must go back to House since they voted for it with an 11 PM curfew amemdment. They’ll have to reconcile it and hopefully pass it since it passed 70-26 with the curfew. It would seem there would still be a substantial majority to vote for it, even without the curfew. The same bill, without a curfew, had 66 co-sponosrs in the House a few years back…back when Speaker Naifeh would use his committees to not allow a floor vote.

I dunno, Pizza Hut can be pretty terrifying.

All those kids hopped up on soda and pepperoni…

  6. Eric Says:

Yeah, but if you discharge a firearm in Pizza Hut how do you avoid starting a grease fire?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
