We’re Winning

DiFi not so keen on gun control: The National Rifle Association essentially has a stranglehold on the congress.

Meanwhile, Tom Diaz of the Violence Policy center laments the death of gun control as a movement:

The guys with the guns make the rules. Get used to it.

I’d almost feel bad for the guy. I mean, if he wasn’t some ideologue trying to trample the bill of rights, that is. As it stands, I’m amused.

I don’t get why he’s so upset at the NRA anyway. According to the GOA “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!” types the NRA is in bed with the Brady Bunch and is just looking for a chance to sell out. 😉

Which is why the 2nd Amendment was put into place. I can’t believe that these idiots don’t get it.

The anti-civil rights groups and legislators like DiFi have an agenda to follow. At every opportunity they will strip citizens of their human right of self defense. At every opportunity they will lie to advance that agenda.

When DiFi says NRA has a stranglehold, I start worrying. She is likely lying to gain a strategic advantage. What she more likely means is that at this exact moment she does not have a legislative majority that will allow her to pass her agenda.

This momentary disadvantage does nothing to dissuade her and those like her from her agenda. She will wait, and continue her propaganda efforts, until the first second she has a one vote majority capable of passing anti-civil rights gun banning laws. We need to change her argument from decrying the NRA to defending herself against the very legitimate charges that she is anti-self defense, anti-civil rights, anti-human rights. In other words, let her go on the defensive for her ridiculous positions rather than letting her lie there like a poisonous snake in the grass, waiting for her chance to strike.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
