Divide & Conquer
Some hunters start with the I’m a gun owner but line to justify bans on weapons they don’t own. If the anti-gunners get that ban then it won’t be long until your hunting rifle becomes a sniper rifle.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

This is something I have always preached,as both a hunter and a gun owner. For once they take away my AR15,it will not be long before they take my BAR semi-auto 30-06 deer rifle, then my .270 Savage,claiming it is just too accurate and is a sniper rifle.
Hunters need to look at what happen i Australia,the UK,and is going on right now in Canada.

Granted, that would require the person writing the letter to actually be a gun owner, and not just some “anti” lying. But that can’t be possible, because gun-control fanatics would never lie to further their cause.

Well, I don’t really want to get a CCW as that gives them a list of all us gun owners, but I really don’t want the grief that comes from carrying a loaded clip and gun in the same vehicle.
Kind of damned if you do and damned it you don’t.

I’m inclined to let them risk finding it. I just wouldn’t want to be them, they don’t make all the rules. I have some of my own.
