The detention thing pisses me off to no end. And part of the problem is the framing. For “terror suspects,” it seems that we presume guilt until proven innocent in a court of law. Which, by the way, they have no access to.

The GOP act like misers until they get the checkbook, and the Dems act like peaceniks until they get the military. Let either one get in power and suddenly it’s No Child Left Behind in Bosnia while we shoot cruise missiles at factories producing cheap Medicare drugs.
