Since they banned guns, it’s kinda stabby over there. So, students are wearing stab-proof vests.

Vests won’t work, kids will just get stabbed in the throat or face. Criminals will figure out within a week that victims might be wearing a vest and modify their attacks accordingly.

Plate mail? In fact (or at least imagination), plate mail could scratch a poor feral youth and give him tetanus! Metal plate could bruise or break the thug’s hand! We must think of the safety of the feral children.
