Last Day for NRA Member Specials

From the Second Amendment Blog Bash site:

So far, that’s what pro-Second Amendment bloggers have accomplished in only a few weeks. One dozen bloggers have recruited 55 new/upgraded/extended NRA members since November. On average, that’s 4.5 more NRA members per blogger than we had before the start of this little contest.

It’s the last day for the the specials.

Just as FYI since I was asked about an online sign up, unfortunately, there is none that I can find for the membership deals. Anyone who wants to sign up needs to call it in at 1-877-NRA-2000, ext. 1 and give them the information from your mailer.

  2. Plblark Says:

Note: The deal is only open to members who received the mailer with the special promo code on it. While I consider it short sighted in the extreme that’s what the rep on the phone told me.

I would have thought ANY current annual member upgrading would be considered a win but who am I?

  3. Bitter Says:

Yeah, they want the mailer number, but there are ways to get one if you search or ask. 😉

Our blogosphere effort was approved by NRA, so if a lower level membership person gives you a hassle, just let me know.

If the NRA had not spent two weeks harassing my parents, if they had bothered to respond to their and my concerns about it, and if I had not just spent the $500 necessary on a new shotgun and associated equipment, I would be all over the life membership offer.

As it is, we will see.

  5. Bitter Says:

Who was harassing your parents? Did a manager of the department refuse to respond?

  6. Linoge Says:

I will need to talk to my parents to get specific names, if they took them down at the time. I feel certain they requested to talk to a manager after the first few days of calls at 6am and 6pm. In any case, telling the phone operators to stop calling them should have been enough – two weeks later, they had to threaten to vote for gun-control advocates if the NRA did not stop harassing them. Oddly enough, the phone calls stopped after that.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
