The editorial board of this newspaper will say here that it shared the concerns of many Democrats about how Republicans might handle their newfound majority, and whether the GOP might use its narrow 50-49 edge in the House to ramrod through an agenda on gun rights, abortion, the state’s tax structure and other issues when a more moderate approach is needed.
