PSH-Inducing

Aside from, say, the coming zombie apocalypse or just to scare the crap out of a gun-fearing wussy, I don’t really know what the point of a chainsaw mounted to a rifle would be. With videos.

Update: It is apparently inspired by a video game. Ok, then.

Same rationale as mounting a gun to a chainsaw, I suppose….

Or more usefully, giving a bicycle to a fish?

In the video game, when the chainsaw comes into play the spray of gore is quite impressive.

Hmm. Seems to me it’s also an example, like the .22/.410 combo guns, of a fine combination tool. In this case, the combination allows you to hike farther into the boonies to cut your firewood, as you can sling both your rifle and your chainsaw, rather than having to carry one or both in your hands.

Belive it or not, that game and its story line are quite interesting.

And c’mon, useful or not, it had to be the natural progress of the bayonet.

Stoopid yokels! Use a Stihl not a piece of junk Oregon saw! Do it right, dad gum it! 🙂

    The Rule of Cool obviously.

A kinetic bayonet! It’s a beautiful thing, and a thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Well, there’s nothing really there to keep your left hand from sliding forward after getting all that pumpkin gunk everywhere during the fog of battle. I’d hate to have the chainsaw chain meet my palm. Guards would have been a good idea.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
