Suppressor Smuggling

A couple of guys from London had firearms suppressors in the luggage. They get to the US and are arrested:

Hope and Latcham were arrested Friday when they returned to RDU to pick up the bag. They told investigators they had bought the silencers in England and planned to give them to a friend in Roxboro whom they were visiting, according to the affidavit.

Suppressors aren’t regulated as heavily outside the US.

I wish that would change…they’re banned here in Mass. Still if a new Muffler for my car cost as much as my car I’d probably go without one of thems too.

Another anti-gun stupidity that will be nearly impossible to repeal thanks to public misinformation from Hollywood.

In various more crowded nations they’re considered to be polite rather than sinister.

And yet nearly every other noisy tool or machine here is required by law to be muffled. Dumb rules by dim people should be the exception not the rule.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
