Speaking of Glocks

Ya know what I want out of a Glock? Note: I like Glocks and carry a Glock 30. Just a few suggestions to improve the perfection, perhaps making the cut for Fifth Generation Glocks. One is a picatinny rail instead of the slot. They put the rail on the Glock 21SF. I dunno, just seems a bit more useful. Also, if they could put some serrations toward the front of the side for those who like to press check their firearms.

So, what you want is an XD-M then, but with a Glock badge and a lousy grip angle?

Well, and something built that has tighter tolerances then the XD.

A company that can’t even get their sight dovetails to be uniform doesn’t instill much faith in me. My wife’s compact XD9 had the loosest rear sight I’ve ever seen on a modern handgun, I slid it out with thumb pressure after noticing it was a bit off center one day.

Night sight manufacturers seem to make their sights oversized in order to get around the lack of uniformity in the XD sight dovetail.

Hell, it’s the only modern handgun I’ve heard of that needs an unjamming block.

My Glock isn’t right for everyone, but it sure is made to a higher standard. Maybe they got their crap together with the XD-M, but being Springfield, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

unjamming block? Wow. I liked them better when they cost 1/3rd the price and were called HS2000s.

I want a single stack 9mm the roughly the size of a keltec.

  5. Phenicks Says:

Umm mike123 they call that a pf9. If you want higher quality look at the Kahr pm9.

    Unjamming block? Oh please.

I’ve beat many guns on the back office carpet before, usually because they ingested a round that had a deformed case mouth. That doesn’t bear badly on the gun, but on the ammo.

The remaining times were a walther that got stuck half-reassembled and a glock that hung up it’s guide rod.

Asides from the bad ammo (remington UMC, I’m looking at you) the XDs and Glocks in the rental case get shot relatively equally and neither have problems.

I would just like them to not be so butt ugly. I don’t suppose it matters what one is shot with, but damn, a Glock? Insult to injury.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
