SM, you must have forgotten that we are all “random schlocks”. Not nearly so intelligent or logical as our betters who have law degrees. You know the tap dancers. The ones who must reframe every debating point to something other than the issue, and still can’t produce cites.
Of course personal inults must be employed to keep the “random schlocks” in their places, else we may think we are free citizens with moral obligations which override their self-serving desires. Oh! The Horror!
I can see these people advocating the full persecution and prosecution of the family that hid Anne Frank. They have stated as much. Just not as honestly. Theirs is not a devotion to justice, but a devotion to vocation and power.
Small men indeed.

What cites? Show me the federal law that says juries have a right to make up the law, and I’ll show you the federal law that repealed it. You still haven’t answered my question, though. If some guy was hawking snake oil, and not only was aware that most doctors thought it was crap, but actually bragged about that fact, would you buy it?
