End of gun ban

DC Council unanimously got rid of the gun ban. It’s like they were forced to do it or something.

“Mendelson’s bill would still require that guns be kept unloaded and disabled, but it would offer an exception for gun owners who say the firearm is present in the home for immediate self-defense.”

    I foresee another lawsuit coming.

  2. Bob S. Says:

I’m just curious if these people every considered suing the schools they attended. Obviously their reading and comprehension skills need serious improvement:

“Nickles has reasoned that the city can meet the Supreme Court ruling and still require trigger locks.”

Maybe it is just a case of denial; if they don’t read the SCOTUS decision then they don’t have to abide by it.

  3. CTone Says:

They are busy crafting every sort of hurdle to put in place of the gun ban. That airbag Cheh is basically telling the SC to go to hell. I hope they get another lawsuit.

Yeah he’s a bright one for sure. I’d really like to see Scalia meet with these bums and personally set em’ straight.

  5. Sulaco Says:

I am really surprised that they changed the law at all. From most of their shouting before and stiff arming gun owners like dirt I thought they would just go on and keep the ban and too hell with the court that couldn’t shoot straight….The arrogance of the “owners” of DC is never ending…at least till now.

  6. Gregg Says:

Let’s just hope they piss off SCOTUS enough that SCOTUS rewrites their ruling stating that the 2nd means what it says.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
