Police State DC
In DC, police plan on blocking off neighborhoods and making them Safety Zones:
Under an executive order expected to be announced today, police Chief Cathy L. Lanier will have the authority to designate “Neighborhood Safety Zones.” At least six officers will man cordons around those zones and demand identification from people coming in and out of them. Anyone who doesn’t live there, work there or have “legitimate reason” to be there will be sent away or face arrest, documents obtained by The Examiner show.

If we get a favorable decision in Parker v. Heller, DC will become a lot safer without further instituting a totalitarian regime.

This reminds me of a lot of episodes of Cops. They pull over someone that is in the wrong neighborhood and ask what they are doing in said neighborhood. Granted, most of the time these people are looking for drugs, but it still irritates me. The police don’t need to know what I am doing somewhere. If I want to drive around all night long in the hood that is my personal business.

Chief Cathy Lanier has tried everything short of letting law abiding people keep (own) and bear (carry) the tools they need to keep them safe. Past scams:
“all hands on deck” – Just get every available officer out there and let them make oodles of overtime. While visible police can be a deterrent, just adding more cops to the beat won’t fix things. When seconds count, the police are still minutes away. On one of that last sessions, there was actually more crime rather than less.
warrantless searches for guns and drugs. You know, when 5 or six police officers in uniform show up unannounced and say that they would like to search your house for stuff, that’s really not intimidating at all…
Oh, and then you have her “restating” the crime statistics during Charles Ramsey’s time as Chief. because Chucky was cooking the books. I’m sure Cathy will do the exact same thing too. How can I get a job where I get to rate myself on how well I’m doing?
At least Cathy hasn’t yet surrounded peaceful protesters and just fucking mass arrested the whole lot. Chief Ramsy did this, and he cost the city a bunch of cash in settlements yet the guy got out of town and into the job at Philly without being tarred and feathered.

Where are the so-called “civl rights” advocates?? The predominantly black population of D.C. is being subjected to the basic aspects of slavery…they’ve already been disarmed and kept that way and now their 4th Amendment rights are being taken away. Where is presumptive preidential nominee, Barack Obama, the supposed first black major party nominee??
Nowhere!!! He and the civil rights dvocates support slavery…especially for their own people.

It just goes to show you that DC is just a hostile, corrupt, third-world nation. I’m waiting for the day DC holds our president hostage. We need to send in troops and aid to liberate the people.
