It was just on CNN.
I expected the closing line to be the usual deception from the Moore ‘Columbine’ movie: “Now the buyer (insert name here) has chosen to buy a truck and leaves with a gun.”
But that isn’t what the video report ended with; “Now the buyer (insert name here) has chosen to buy a gun and go to target practice.”
(paraphrasing)
Heard him on the radio this morning (Butler isn’t quite a KC suburb yet but give it a few years).
He specifically mentioned that it would be a good idea for people to “get their CCW and put the gun in their pocket.”
The morning show talking to him is the usual male/female pair. He also does a fishing show and does a lot of hunting so he though it was a good idea. She recently took up shooting and invited the guy up for a trip to the range. I have reasons that both people aren’t my favorites but their attitude on guns is not one of them.
Of course they take the gun. The gas will be gone in short order, but the gun will last a lifetime and retain much of it’s value. It would be economically retarded to take the gas.
You know what they say..give a man some gas and he can gas up his car for a day..give a man a gun and he can hold up gas stations and he’ll have gas for life.
(It’s a joke, lighten up)
Uncle Pays the Bills Again
We say more dumb shit before noon than most people say all day.
