The Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Ownership’s Very, Very, Very Bad Week
Petey and Helmke are having a bad week. First, Virginia Tech tells them that they won’t be allowed to dance in the blood of dead college students. But no worries, they’re just going to crash the party instead. Stay classy, guys!
And, an emerging pattern from these guys, is to claim victory even while losing.
And with Barack Ratatouille Obama’s gun views coming under fire, the Brady Camp seeks to assert that it is relevant in American politics. So, Petey and Paul, which presidential candidate is actively seeking your endorsement?
And, finally, there is a push by the Brady Bunch for a ban on regular capacity magazines in Illinois. Trouble is the synopsis of the bill says:
Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the sexual exploitation of children.
That’s low, even for gun controllers who routinely lie to win.

That’s low, even for gun controllers who routinely lie to win.
Maybe, but it’s a common political tactic, and certainly not one a lot of other interest groups are shy about using too.

We’re talking about it over at the brand-spanking new VCDL blog.
Full disclosure: I’m one of the brand spanking new VCDL staff bloggers. Official announcement of the brand spanking new VCDL blog hasn’t been made yet but should be forthcoming soon so you’re one of the first to be in the know.
Further disclosure: I’m spamming this comment on a couple of blogs that are talking about the issue. Bad form, I know, but I wanted to get the word out about the brand spanking new VCDL Blog.

Perfect. Now if you’re in favor of everyone’s right to own regular capacity magazines, you are also in favor of the sexual exploitation of children.
Politics as usual.
