For obvious reasons, sales of the SCAR are restricted to law enforcement agencies and the military.
That runs counter to what I’ve heard which is that there will be a civilian version.

Looking at the context, I think he’s referring to the selective fire weapon he got to handle on the visit. I don’t believe he’s talking about the viability of a $3,000 future civvie market version.

FN has released civillian version of pretty much anything, including their SMG’s FFS!
Can you imagine them making a weapon, so tacticool it makes hell freeze over, with more rails than a train depot, and then not making a civvie version?
