Sig556

As someone once said, they took an AK47 and made it look like an AR-15.

It’s an AR-15 lower mated to an AR-18 upper.
    Call it an AR-18A2.
It’s what everyone should have been using by 1970.

Have designers done nothing in the last 38 years but find new locations for more Picatinny Rail?

I am somewhat of a grammar nazi, but since the author is a Good Guy ™ I’ll not pick at it.

I haven’t seen an AR-18 in person; I’ll reserve judgement on that until I can find a cutaway or exploded view. I have looked inside one of the 556 rifles, and the bolt setup reminds me terribly of the AK system.

Love the retro Sturmgewehr grip! So, now you can clean the op-rod tube and gas-system thingy instead of the chamber? Does the vibrating op-rod on top of the barrel improve accuracy or should it be below the barrel for best harmonics? Just wondering.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
