First Guns For Kids

Kim discusses air rifles. I have a Gamo 220 Hunter that will work fine. Tomorrow, I’m heading to Coal Creek to get some pink furniture for Junior’s first AR. Assuming someone remembers to dig up a complete set from the back (hint, hint).

Yeah, I dug out every last little bit of it, and have hand guards in Pink, handguards and buttstocks in purple, and complete sets, with Ergo Grip, in blue. I’d help you find somewhere to get it the rest, but they only make it once a year – no more until the end of ’08. I’ll hold back what I have and let you choose.

The lights will be here in the Friday AM, confirmed.

I bypassed the air rifle and went straight to the .22 since they come in smaller sizes, and you can load them up with low power .22. shorts that do not require hearing protection.

I got my son the Savage Cub. It even comes with the AccuTrigger and is very well made. He’s turning 7 in a couple days, and has had the rifle for about a year. Lots of fun!

    ColtCCO,
    Made by Cavalry Arms?

  4. ColtCCO Says:

    Yessir, genuine Cavalry Arms furniture.

Last I heard they were trying to get a copy of their variance so that they can squirt out a bunch of poly lowers. Sadly the only raw material they have is black. If they are able to get the lowers made they might get enough $$ to purchase some colored raw material in which case they are likely to do a run of pink. A lot of people have been requesting pink lowers/furniture as part of Cav-Aid 2008.

Please recall that BATF raided Cavalry Arms a bit over a week ago and took all of their firearms, lowers, computers etc… Sadly the computers held all of CavArms records. As a result their suppliers closed their credit accounts so that CavArms is now on a COD basis for material.

For further info and links to the various assistance plans. No, there is still no word as to why they were raided, no charges have been filed and they still have their FFL.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
