   Naah. The perp was stabbed in the chest, so according to Tim Lambert, the shop keeper will get off. If he’d been stabbed in the back…

   But then, I’m just a “gullible gunner.”

   Cautionary tale, what happened in England could happen here. Even France is looking better than England.

   What kind of world are we living in when a career criminal can’t even stab an innocent man to death and take his wallet without risking bodily injury?

   Basically it looks like police booked him, and turned the facts and statements for the incident over to the Crown Prosecution Service, which will decide on whether to bring charges. If there’s a body involved, the same thing would happen in a lot of US cities. Now if the Crown decides to bring charges, then it’ll be outrage time.

   I should note that I don’t agree with the reasonable force standard that Britain uses. It’s too subject to prosecutorial interpretation. I wouldn’t be shocked if they did decide to bring charges because, well, “Once you got the knife away from the yob, you didn’t really have any reason to stab him did you?”

   The following is in response to an assault weapons ban proposed in Nebraska:

   It may be a good idea to remind our “Fudd” friends how gun bans worked in England. First, scary “military style semi-automatic rifles”. Not many objected because they didn’t have one. Then it was handguns, and folks said, “well at least I have my rifles. Then it was “sniper rifles”, and then repeating shotguns, and so on, until there were not enough legal gun owners to be reckconned with at the ballot box. Now, only criminals have guns, and the public debate is whether or not to register kitchen knives. It CAN happen here. IT IS, NOW! Wake your Fudd friends up!

   That said, both England and France are flooded with jihadists. Here, we just have folks from Central America. They don’t want to blow themselves up….

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
