The attack has echoes of the murder of Garry Newlove, the 47-year-old who was kicked to death by drunken teenagers outside his home in Warrington, Cheshire, last year after confronting them for vandalising his wife’s car.

Another devoted father, 22-year-old Peter Woodhams, was shot dead on his doorstep in Canning Town, East London, in August 2006, seven months after an assault by yobs left him badly scarred.
Yup, banning gun ownership has sure stopped violent crime in Great Britain has’nt it?

I read on some UK site last year that some “public safety” organization was trying to get Parliament to ban long knives, except for use in grocery stores, butchers, etc.

Add this lunacy to the pedestrian observation cameras, and you have a country just begging to be conquered by an outside force or re-taken by freedom-loving citizens.
