You cannot imagine how annoyed I was to find that one cannot purchase ammunition at Kalifornistan Walmarts… it was more than a little convenient to just get everything I could ever need at one location. Of course, given that the ones here in San Diego are not allowed to be Super Walmarts, that is more difficult regardless.
That said, boy was that a sucky (though amusing in retrospect, I suppose) day.

Walmart’s a great place for beginner concealed carry practice. Everyone’s a potential threat, and it’s so full of crazies no-one looks at you twice.
Tip: Get your stuff, then pay for it at the sporting goods counter, along with your ammo. No lines, and you can have fun with the assistant.
“Is that for a handgun”, they have to ask.
“Whatever kills them the quickest. Do you have a recommendation?”

Anyone who shops at Wall-of-China Mart gets exactly what they deserve.

My client’s firewall is blocking access to the linked site, dammit.
Erm, I mean, not that I’d, you know, surf the web, umm, like, at work, or anything.
Umm…nevermind.
