Actually, the random bag searches are post-Giuliani because it had to wind its way through courts, but the spirit is what matters right? Anyhow, I want this guy aired out for what a jerk he really is. BTW, I am currently banned in NY State from driving for 6 months for contesting a seatbelt violation. Yep, showed up in court and the judge in Manhattan got pissed, found me guilty and pulled my license for a 6 months. The fine was $175.

I unbuckled my belt to get tollway money and got a ticket. Was a thousand miles away on court date, they didn’t care, just wanted the money.
If your DL is from another state, be prepared for them to rescind you license for some period and require a reinstatement fee. Depends how long it takes your particular DMV to correlate the results of their never ending search for revenue and control with the your specific DL. Most probably will happen though.
