But I have found a way to improve the world’s greatest sandwich: add a slice of onion.

Onions? Wouldn’t they clash with the kraut? Besides I believe there’s already some onions in the 1000 island dressing.

I always ask for red onion and a slice of grilled tomatos to be added to mine. Tastes great.

I sometimes like a bit of red onion in a Reuben.
Of course, I like jalapeños and sauerkraut on a hamburger.
