I had to do a double take

Seems Chuckles Schumer (Nanny state, big government prick – NY – but I repeat myself) wants to do everything in his power to save Remington Arms:

“When I meet with the hedge funds, I’ll lobby for our local companies,” he said. “Tell the guys at Remington I’ll keep them here. They have a friend in me.”

That’s odd, Chucky. I mean, do they make anything that you haven’t tried to ban at some point?

    He’s a hypocritical POS.

  2. Ron W Says:

Remember, Senator Chuck Schumer needs guns, hired guns that is, to protect him and others of officialdom. They only want to keep and take guns away from us, the people, while they keep them for themselves. It’s the way of tyranny.

  3. JustDoIt Says:

He only sees the potential loss of tax revenue if Remington relocates to a more friendly state (which I wish they would).

  4. Captain Holly Says:

It’s because they make only Fudd guns. No handguns or EBR’s.

I doubt he would be as solicitous towards Bushmaster.

  5. Heartless Libertarian Says:

Or Kimber (based in Yonkers, NY, IIRC)

  6. Cactus jack Says:

I dont understand why the firearms manufacturers that are located in states that are unfriendly to them stay there and dont re-locate to gun-friendly states.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
