That’s unpossible
Seems that (despite serious undercounting to the tune of 2,000,000 incidents) Gun and Knife murders out of control in the UK. Which cannot happen in a country with full firearm registration, and bans on semi-automatic long guns over .22 caliber, pump-action rifles and shotguns, full-auto weapons, and all handguns.

Pretty funny, they have to lie about the numbers so it won’t seem so bad. Bet it sucks to walk down the street. Liberal extremism can be harmful to your heath.

That “lie” about the numbers is that, if one person reported being the victim of six or more violent crimes in a year, they only counted it as 5 crimes. I suspect that the underlying assumption is that someone who claimed to be a violent crime victim every two months was most likely delusional rather than actually being victimized that often.
Now, in “red” America, where law-abiding people can buy a gun in a half hour and legally use it to defend themselves, I’d think that assessment was correct. Show me serial victims like that around here, and either they are making up the incidents, they’re so f’d up mentally that they might as well be walking with a “mug me, I won’t resist” sign on their back – in a very bad neighborhood, or they are staying with an abusive spouse and not trying to do anything about the ongoing abuse. (But in the latter case, would the woman who never called the cops count up the incidents for some pollster?) OTOH, in the land of victim disarmament, it’s conceivable that some people can’t resist the muggers and can’t afford to move to a safer neighborhood – but it still seems unlikely that there’d be enough walking targets for 2 million incidents.
Two million is a lot of crimes for a population the size of the UK. The Brits might have a different attitude towards domestic abuse to the point that there are women getting beaten up every week without hubby going to jail for a long time, but it would take over 40,000 such women to account for this…

Disarmed public = target-rich environment.
Illegal gun = gun reserved exclusively for criminals’ use.
Anti-gun/anti-self defense law maker = corrupt law maker.
