Apparently, watching them and recording them will land you in jail.

The television show COPS is ok though, the police know they’re being taped. A trooper recording a stop, audio and video, with his in car camera is OK though, the trooper knows he’s being taped.

A public servant on a public way, doing the public’s business (uh huh, yeah right) on the public payroll can record the public, but his actions must be kept secret. Doesn’t that sound like Secret Police?
We are truly in trouble in this country if this shit stands.

I predict that this will be thrown out of court. If the conversation was already being recorded by one party, I sincerely doubt that a recording being made by the second party would be ruled illegal.
