Congrats

To Jay who has pics of his new toy. Welcome to the club. Wait, they allow those in Mass?

Good luck finding another magazine for it. It took me like 5 months of constantly nagging Tam to get two more.

    Thanks Unc.

No, the Kel-Tec is not on the {spit} Approved Firearms Roster{/spit}. However, it’s not illegal to own (unlike CA); we just can’t get them from a dealer, only private sale.

They’re about as rare as hen’s teeth, and priced accordingly. I sure hope it’s worth it… :O

Does that list apply to law enforcement too? I thought in Massachusetts if you had a Class A you could pretty much get anything.

  3. Jay G Says:

There’s the rub: The list does NOT apply to Law Enforcement. New Glocks are not allowed to be sold in MA (even though they’re on the Approved Firearms Roster, but that’s a rant for another time). For their PRIVATE firearms, which is complete and utter bullshit – if the firearm is “unsafe” (the criteria for allowing or disallowing a gun’s sale in MA) for the general population, it should also be unsafe for LEOs…

HOWEVER… Some animals are indeed more equal than others. LEOs can purchase guns that the rest of us peons cannot. This has led to a nice little side business for LEOs buying guns and then selling them privately – for an obscene profit (I’ve heard of P3ATs selling for MORE THAN TRIPLE MSRP)…

Hey, thanks to the laws of physics, I can move no faster than the Speed Of Wholesalers. 😮

    I couldn’t wait. I went to eBay… And don’t tell nobody, but I paid by PayPal…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
