Nifty but I don’t see the point
Some AR porn from Heartless Libertarian who is showing us the new MGI Modular System AR-15. Cool idea to have one lower that can fire 5.56 and you switch out the upper and the mag well to fire 7.62X39 with AK magazines. But with the lower going for five bills and the AK mag well going for $250, I think I’d just get an AK and $350 worth of ammo.

Actually, if you have their special upper and bolt carrier (which should work with any caliber) all you need to swap out is the barrel, not the whole upper.
So if you want to shoot .223, 6.8, 6.5, .300 Whisper…all you need are barrels (and in some cases bolts) and the proper mags.
Other than that, it looks evil, and the fact that one registered receiver can easily be swapped to fire all those different calibers is sure to get the GFWs in a tizzy.
