Although Netvibes owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the Netvibes application, you retain all rights to your data.
I don’t see how they can make any money with a privacy policy like that.
I’m not trying to shame you all with my 1337ness, I honestly don’t know because I don’t use portals. What makes this new or cool or better than what google or yahoo do?
For instance in Netvibes you can on the same page check your yahoo mail and do a web search on google.
Those 2 functions will never be by default on yahoo or google portals and that’s why, we believe that Netvibes, as an independant player, is a big opportunity for the users.

Umm… it looks like a portal. Unless I’m missing the obvious, what makes this any better than what yahoo or google or anyone else’s offers?
