Media stupidity
I’ve written a lot about how ignorant the American press is when it comes to guns. But other countries’ coverage of the American gun issue are just fucking retarded:
Statistics show us that more people are killed by the gun in the United States every year than in all of the countries combined!
Absolutely false. And this gem:
The National Rifle Association (NRA), which makes millions of dollars through the manufacture and sales of weapons,
Oy. And that’s how the world views America on guns.

Amazing how Africa, with at least eleven full or part-time civil wars, or Iraq, or Afghanistan, all combined, have less gun deaths than the US. I’d venture that isn’t even accurate if you remove all the countries involved in war.
Worse, the US MSM seems to follow the same group of myths. You know, once the fourth-estate has spoken, it must be true.
