Something in a size nine
Over at The Gun Blogs (or as I like to call it, Rustmeister’s blog that I pay for*), Rustmeister asks:
At some time in the (hopefully) near future I plan on getting a new pistol, so I’m looking for suggestions.
It needs to have the following features:
* Full size
* Minimum capacity 12+1
* Minimum caliber 9mm +P
* Stainless
* Under $500 if possible
* Note: I’m not bashing Rustmeister. I’m just disappointed more folks don’t post material there. I set it up to be a blog that any gunnie could post too and it seems only a few do. So, if you want to blog about guns, head over there; register; and start posting.

I had that ideal pistol around 8-10 years ago. Ruger P94 Stainless 9MM 15+1. If you could find one today or a similiar model they were in your price range. Other than that Taurus is your way to go if you are trying to stay under that price cap. PT24/7, Millenium series, 92 clone etc.

Dang, ya caught me!
I’m also suprised few people have taken advantage of your generosity. It’s a great idea, and perfect for guys and girls who would like to blog, but don’t have the time or energy to do it on a daily basis.
If if doesn’t work out, don’t keep it around for me. You have a family to feed, after all. Unless you keep fasting, then maybe you could keep it open, what with all the money you’re saving. =P

Sounds like he’s looking for either the Ruger KP345 or a used Beretta 96 Inox. I had the
Beretta Brigadier with the heavier slide, nice pistol. I sold it for $500 in excellent shape. Dang.
