I appreciate the sentiment but Google did not delist me due to any bias on their part. It’s because I sold subdomains to someone who set up a link farm. Should end soon unless they re-up their commitment.
Life without Google would be hard. It’s the top search engine and gmail is the best email package I’ve ever seen.
[…] UPDATE 2: Well, nevermind. I couldn’t figure out how to contact Google anyway. […]
I have regular contact with Google. They’re a pretty cool company, and they’ve taken it well when I’ve given them some guff for privacy concerns. I’ve never gotten into politics with anybody there though.
I never started Gmail, so, like smoking, I don’t know what I’m missing.
The best thing about gmail is its integration with google talk, which in turn is hooked into the jabber/XMPP network.. This means anyone using jabber can IM to gmail users, something i’ve used to my advantage to surprise a few people, including a friend of mine in NZ (and uncle!)
I do love me some Google searches, but I detest the gmail interface.
I’ve found I really like how clusty.com groups things.
