What did Delaware?

Well, not a gun for now:

Apparently the CCW bill in Delaware is getting the daylights “Christmas tree’ed” out of it. Opponents are tacking on as many amendments as they can hoping to forestall the inevitable. DE is already essentially “will issue”, wherein citizens who can articulate a good reason can usually get a permit. It seems that they have the votes to make the shall issue hopes materialize, but some unfortunate additions might get tacked on.

One Response to “What did Delaware?”

  1. Sebastian Says:

I have a feeling this is going to suck for me. I can already carry in Delaware on my Florida permit. Since my father is now a Delaware resident, I go there a lot. Right now DE’s carry laws are generally about as good as Pennsylvania’s, meaning there aren’t many restrictions on where you can carry. I have a sinking feeling to go shall-issue they will need to add some. Considering Delaware will generally issue, I think they should hold out for a clean bill. Maybe that will never happen though.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
