Junior’s First AR

Last night, I built Junior her first AR-15. Here it is:

That Lego gas system leaves a lot to be desired but the rifle is totally modular.

I dunno. I look at that one with about the same confidence as when I turned in my M-14 for an M-16 in 1969…

Are those Lego brand blocks, or some lame knock-off?

  3. SayUncle Says:

I have no idea. Knowing the Mrs., probably Lego. They’re ridiculously huge for babies though.

Babies need bigger blocks – they can grab fairly large objects much earlier than they develop the coordination to grab small ones. Not that I see any point to Lego-type blocks for kids that small.

I thought the AR-15 was the male’s Barbie doll. 🙂

I’m terribly concerned that that toy rifle is a bad idea. I mean, any bullet small enough to chamber in that — especially a scale. 223 — would be a choking hazard.

  7. tgirsch Says:

If they’re the huge ones, they’re probably Duplo blocks.

[…] At 15 months, I built Junior her first AR-15. I’ll probably build her one of these too. […]

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
